There are several special events this month as well.  Become (2016) will return for one showing on Jan 6 at 7pm.  Kung Fu Nights return for a one night double feature on Jan 7 at 7pm.  The Tucson Fringe Festival will be using The Screening Room as one of their four venues from Jan 13 through Jan 15.  More details can be found on their website www.tucsonfringe.org.  As part of the Downtown Jazz Fiesta, the Tucson Jazz Festival will feature some live music on Jan 16 in the afternoon.  More details can be found on their website www.tucsonjazzfestival.org.

Comedy nights continue every Tuesday night.  The Switch will continue every first Tuesday of each month.  Every last Tuesday will feature the Wildcat Comedy Show and the Quality Assurance Feedback Mic will be on the middle Tuesdays.  There will be a couple feature comedy nights in January.  First, on Jan 19, the National Comedy Festival benefiting the ACLU, and on Jan 24, Dave Waite, standup comedian, visits Tucson all the way from Los Angeles.

Odyssey Storytelling returns on the first Thursday of the month followed by the weekly Music Jam Session every Thursday.  Monday Night Open Mic will continue to provide the best place for variety entertainment.  Comedy Temple will provide improvisation showcases every Friday starting Jan 20.  Visit www.tsrdowntown.com for more information about upcoming events as well as special offers and promotions.
